Kyle Rittenhouse Sued Again

Kyle Rittenhouse, who was acquitted of killing two men and wounding a third at racial justice protests in Wisconsin in 2020, is now being sued by John Huber.

The lawsuit alleges that Rittenhouse intentionally killed Huber's son, Anthony Huber, during the protests. The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages.

Rittenhouse has not yet commented on the lawsuit.

The shooting occurred during a night of unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man. Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time, said he traveled to Kenosha to protect businesses from looters and rioters.

Rittenhouse fatally shot two men, Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, and wounded a third, Gaige Grosskreutz. He was acquitted of all charges in November 2021.

The new lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal challenges that Rittenhouse has faced since the shooting. He has also been sued by Gaige Grosskreutz and the families of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber.
