Nagelsmann announces provisional list ahead of home tournament
Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann has announced his provisional squad ahead of this summer's home European Championship.
The squad includes several new faces, as well as some experienced players who will be hoping to help Germany win their first major tournament since 2014.
One of the most notable inclusions is Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, who has been in impressive form for his club this season.
Other notable inclusions include RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol, Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala and Borussia Mönchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.
The squad will be trimmed down to 23 players before the tournament begins on June 14. Germany will then face Portugal, Hungary and France in Group F.
Nagelsmann will be hoping to lead Germany to their first European Championship title since 1996. The tournament will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14.
